Christmas is almost here again and we’re busy with bookings for festive season lunches and dinners. There will a fabulous choice of dishes on the carvery and buffet – something to suit everyone, so we’re perfect for an office ‘do’ – a dinner party with friends or a family friendly celebration. For larger groups, our banqueting suites are ideal.

Enjoy freedom of choice at the carvery and buffet, or select from our à la carte menus at the largest of Stornoway restaurants.
That was just one of the reasons we opened the family friendly Eleven Bar, now probably the most popular of Stornoway restaurants – at the Caladh Inn. With a large contemporary carvery and buffet, you can browse a wide range of freshly prepared dishes and roasts to make your choice. Or pop a selection on your plate – it’s a great way to try something new.
Our chefs insist on quality ingredients and concentrate on using as much fresh local produce as possible.
There’s an excellent à la carte menu on offer at Eleven Restaurant. At lunch times, the selection of light bites includes hot sandwiches and wraps – for example, imagine tempting your taste buds with a Braised steak and caramelised
onion sandwich on toasted ciabatta bread, with salad and and fries. Or a tasty burger – 100% beef, ground to perfection right here in the hotel by our own butcher.
In the evening, à la carte menu choices include British favourites like local scallops, succulent sirloin steaks and lamb cutlets. There are authentic Asian dishes and pastas with fresh local seafood.
Choose sirloin steak, southern fried chicken or a mixed grill sharing platter and you’ll receive two generous portions on a wooden platter with chips and trimmings. Then complete your feast with your own selection of vegetables from the buffet. From £16.95 to £22.95, a sharing platter is wonderful value – a splendid, affordable, mid-week treat.
Occasionally we’ll encounter a really hungry guest who asks for a sharing platter for one. We don’t mind at all – at Eleven and the Caladh Inn, your pleasure is our aim.
Around 10 to 20 guests may reserve a private dining room that leads directly off the main restaurant area – the carvery/buffet is still conveniently accessible, but you may enjoy the opportunity to host a child’s birthday party, discreet celebration or small business function. Alternatively, all of the hotel’s banqueting suites are available for parties of between around 20 and 180 guests – with catering and hospitality by our restaurant chefs and staff.

- Breakfast : 7.00 – 9.30 am, Monday – Saturday (Sunday 8.00 – 10.00am).
