Carvery, buffet or a la carte – take your choice of excellently prepared and delicious lunches and dinners.
Justifiably claiming to be Stornoway’s most popular restaurant, Eleven is stylish, fun, family friendly and great value.
But most important of all, it’s a restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food. We use top quality, fresh ingredients, including huge quantities of fresh fish and shellfish from nearby harbours.
While buffet restaurants are now beginning to show up around the UK, we’ve been pioneering the idea for over years.
You have a great range of choices when you come to Eleven, as there’s a ‘serve-yourself’ buffet and carvery, an a la carte menu plus our new sharing platters that offer exceptional value for two people dining together.
Whether you want to enjoy a single course buffet lunch, save money by taking an early dinner, order an a la carte meal or just pop in for coffee, you’re always welcome at Eleven.
The buffet and carvery
There’s a fresh selection of dishes every day on the buffet, reflecting the availability of fresh produce, plus roast meats on the carvery. On any day you could find a range of tastes encompassing traditional Scottish, European, American or Asian cuisines -our chefs have worked in many countries of the world and enjoy bringing the many dining stykes to the Isle of Lewis.
Special prices apply for early dinners – times as shown on the menu.
Provided they are accompanied by an adult who is also taking a meal, children under 5 eat free and 5-11s are charged half price for a buffet or carvery meal. A dedicated chldren’s menu is also available (printed on a colouring sheet to keep them amused).
A la carte and sharing menus
Being only a hundred metres or so from the harbour and sea, it’s hardly surprising that almost half the main courses on our a la carte menu include fish and seafood. There’s also a good range of grills and spicy dishes.
Our most recent innovation is the sharing platter – a generous choice of sirloin steaks, mixed grill or rack of lamb, freshly cooked to order with chips and garnish served on a board. You can add vegetables from the buffet and with even the most expensive platter being only £20, this is an exceptional dining out bargain. It’s hardly surprising that the sharing platter is one of most popular orders.
